- Royal Burgh
- Municipal Burgh
- Police Burgh
- Burgh Ward
- Town, village or hamlet
- Island if any
- Road, street and number or name of house
- Inhabited and unhinhabited houses or buildings
- Full name of each person
- Relationship to the head of the family
- Marital condition of each person
- Age
- Gender
- Profession or occupation
- Employer or employed, or working on own account
- Birthplace of each person
- Whether the person spoke Gaelic, or G & E (Gaelic and English)
- Whether deaf and dumb, blind, lunatic, imbecile, or idiot
- Rooms with one or more windows
